At Aalborg University we are continuously following the latest information regarding the Covid-19 Pandemic. We hope that a physical conference will be possible, however, we are also working on a different conference format, if we are not allowed to meet in Aalborg.
Regardless of the final conference format all accepted papers will be published in conference proceedings and there will be an option to present online.
WELCOME TO PBL2021
The goal of PBL 2021 international conference is to challenge, transform and expand current practices through the lenses of envisioned future hybrid learning models and environments for engaging students. The PBL address both PBL and active learning methodologies.
THE PBL2021 THEME
The theme of the conference will focus on transforming PBL through hybrid learning models. The theme could cover elements such as: blended learning, interdisciplinary learning, individual and collaborative learning, disciplines and coherent educational models.
The conference will be at Aalborg University’s CREATE building (Rendsburggade 14, 9000 Aalborg Denmark), which is located in the center of Aalborg.
Aalborg University (AAU) was established in 1974 with a problem – and project-based educational model. AAU is recognized world-wide and was recently ranked among the most innovative universities in the MIT report, “The GlobalState of the Art in Engineering Education“.
Aalborg has a state-of-the-art plane-station, which you can reach from Copenhagen, Oslo, London and Amsterdam.
